We take the bite out of special needs and long term care planning!  I am an elder law Attorney and I help families plan for long term care of thier elderly or special needs family members through Special Needs Trusts, Powers of Attorney designations, Advance Directive for Health Care, Asset Protection Trusts, HIPAA Authorization documents, and long term care planning utilizing Veterans Benefits, Medicaid benefits, and insurance funding to protect the family's assets for future generations.  I also handle Guardianship and Conservatorship cases, and Probate matters.  I am a native of Athens, Georgia and am licensed in Georgia, Florida, Arizona and Connecticut.  My parents are 91 and 95 and I understand the difficulties of maintaining independence while ensuring safety for our older family members.   I work with families dealing with cognitive issues such as dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, Down Syndrome, and Autism. I help surviving family members navigate the probate process when a loved one dies. I plan for Long Term Care benefits such as VA Aid and Attendance, Medicaid Nursing home care, and other methods to provide asset protection for families.
