The story of my divorce would make a great Lifetime Movie. Despite all of the twists and turns, I remained steadfast in my top priority, the safety and well-being of my child. For me the choice was clear, either I would find an attorney who could help me obtain sole custody or I would remain in a t...errible situation in order to provide my child with the protection that was necessary. David Thomson was the third attorney that I interviewed for the job. The first attorney only offered a cookie cutter approach telling me, "This is just the way it is. David Thomson is highly experienced in family law. His direct but calm and friendly manner, his "people skills" and his ability to make quick and accurate assessments through very concise questions likely saved me many thousands of dollars, by avoiding a court hearing in a situation with a troubled ...child. (The costs of such an ordeal can be quite damaging to BOTH parties, even if one is in the right.) Also, such a court procedure can be invasive and demoralizing.
