Biography
Jason has received multiple awards in the area of criminal defense and DUI defense, and in 2023 was awarded as a Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorney by Attorney and Practice Magazine and selected to the American Jurist Institute’s Top 10 Attorney list for DUI. He has received the Platinum Client Champion award from Martindale-Hubbell. He serves clients in the areas of criminal and DUI defense having tried over 100 criminal jury trials over the last 20 years. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell in criminal law, litigation and general practice and is a general member of the National College for DUI Defense. His extensive criminal defense work and his prior experience of working with a judge and as a prosecutor has allowed him to see how cases are handled from all sides of the judicial system. He uses this knowledge of what judges like to hear and how prosecutors build their case to represent his clients through all stages of their matter.
Jason graduated from the University of Georgia Magna Cum Laude, with High Honors and from the University of Georgia School of Law Cum Laude, He has been practicing in Northeast Georgia since 2002. Prior to going out on his own Jason worked as a staff attorney for the State Court of Clarke County and as a prosecutor in the Office of the Solicitor General for Athens-Clarke County.
Jason is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys and the National College for DUI Defense.

Clean record and didn't show up to court once

Not Guilty for DUI
Took my case to a jury trial, and was found not guilty of the DUI charges! Mr. Slider was so helpful and pleasant throughout the whole process. He pinpointed issues with the trooper's procedures that I would have never thought of. I would recommend him to anyone!
