In law, you get what you paid for, and you really don't get much from him. At best, he stretches himself thin with too many clients, and to his credit, he does provide legal services to those without much in the way of means. In any case, however, he's generally unresponsive to emails and phone call...s, with delays taking nearly a week in some cases. He's slow to move when he does have to, with the other party's lawyer always being faster to get every document sent to me. He's sloppy, as I discovered when I had to proofread his own legal documents for him. Perhaps his biggest flaw is probably his defeatist attitude, seeming to give up before the battle has even begun. He has never made me feel hopeful for my juvenile case's outcome, and I shouldn't feel like I hired him to hold my hand while the case goes as poorly as possible. At best, he's cheap, and he'll at least help you in working through the legal wrangling that comes with going through a divorce and contested custody battle. For your own good, however, if you can afford anyone else, hire them instead.
