Beware-Reviews are accurate and experience proves that

Hiring R Ridgely Rairigh Jr. to provide legal counsel was one of the worst decisions I've made. His lack of understanding results in consequences that are unforeseen and detrimental to your future. His lack of communication, and inability to complete simple tasks such as deliver court required do...cuments resulted in lost job opportunities. Lack of knowledge and understanding of Legal process: His lack of understanding of legal processes were shown when dealing with clerical admin professionals. His estimated time frame was 6-8 months, and the clerical admin. stated it was an average of 4-8 weeks for a simple paper work turn in and review. Due to his inability to complete a simple task, multiple jobs offers were rescinded. If I could find a lawyer who would take the case to sue for damages I would. Non Existent Communication: His communication is nonexistent. Several voice messages are required before you get a call or email back, and the response was generally a 1 or 2 word answer, and when asked to elaborate, would state, that's the way it is. Multiple emails would go unanswered, and if you listed more than one question in an email you would get an answer to only 1 of those questions. He failed to explained the complete implications of a misdemeanor plead bargain, and only after the paper work was signed did he provide answers. To much dismay there were consequences that were not disclosed prior to the plea. I would honestly say that if you have the opportunity to choose between R Ridgely Rairigh Jr. and ANY other option, I would pick the other option. I do not know how he is still licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia. He has a local reputation that will speak for itself as well, and would suggest you go to anyone else before consulting him.

Worse off Than when I Started

Represented me in a criminal case; it seemed pretty cut and dry, but getting in touch with him was next ton impossible, amd the few interactions I did have with him were hostile and he acted like I was wasting his time. I don't feel like he put in a lot of effort in my case, and I have since spoken ...to many attorneys that have all said that they thought the case was handled poorly, and were suprised at the outcome. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Waste of money and potential freedom. Stay away!

Lacking Lots of Integrity

I hired Ridge Rairigh to represent my children's best interest and my safety as well. I sold my only transportation to hire Mr. Rairigh and was driving a borrowed car that kept breaking down on me. For nothing.... I would've had better luck defending myself against my ex and his attorney. I had a... one year stalking order in place against my ex-husband and came to Ridge to hopefully extend the order. He came to mediation so unprepared that he was having to get info and figures from my ex-husbands attorney. Ridge suggested that my ex should pick our children up from my house on Friday and that I pick them up from his house on Sunday. REALLY!!!! My ex is not someone that I want around my house after all the things he has said and done to me. There was a reason the stalking order was put into place to begin with. I asked Mr. Rairigh to get copies of my ex's W2's and pay stubs during the discovery and other things as well. Mr. Rairigh replied with " I can even get you his bank statements if you want them". I said that would be great. I want everything. It was just three months after our divorce that my ex's brother broke into the house and committed suicide, within a few months foreclosure paperwork started coming and the kids and I lost everything. But by the grace of GOD... I wasn't giving up and I refused to let my kids give up. We picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off and started over. Never once asked for a handout or a hand up. I purchased us a new home with no help and I didn't borrow one dime from anyone. I had three sets of eyes looking at me for direction. I want them to grow up to be a positive part of society, I have tried to lead by example. My kids have suffered enough. It's time that the ex stands up to the plate. After all that had happened Mr. Rairigh had the gall to show up in Mediation with nothing! When I asked him where is the discovery on my case? He stated " I did not do any discovery". When I asked why didn't he do any discovery?? His response to me was " I didn't have too". Now my children and are suffering as well because of it! I'm a single mom with three kids. I strongly do NOT recommend hiring Ridge Rairigh.

Lacking Integrity

I hired Ridge Rairigh to represent my children's best interest. Unfortunately, I put my faith in him and he let us down. He lacked morals and ethics that are needed in an attorney. He came to mediation unprepared. Now my children and are suffering because of it! I would strongly recommend against hir...ing Ridge Rairigh.
