Biography
Adam is a 30-year attorney and a veteran of the U.S. Navy with extensive experience in estate planning and trust administration. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, he served six years as a Surface Warfare Officer before earning my J.D. from Mercer University and being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1995. He is passionate about helping clients understand the importance of creating estate plans to protect their families. His background includes work in estate planning, business formation, and financial advising, which allows him to address a variety of client needs. As a member of a blended family, Adam has devoted significant time to developing strategies that address the unique challenges of estate planning for blended families.
Over the years, he became increasingly frustrated with the traditional billable hour model in legal practice. This led Adam to establish Lanier Legacy Group, where he focuses on creating estate plans using a flat fee approach.

No followup. Pay upfront
Initial meeting with lay person who reviews your goals was very helpful. We had a simple question for Mr Hicks. Although we had a scheduled appointment for a call, Hcks failed to contact us. There was zero followup by Hicks. His lack of professionalism showed us that he had no interest in satisfying ...

Our estate planning services are offered on a flat-fee model so our clients always know what to expect. Because our attorneys' schedules are consistently filled with client appointments, we do keep a card on file and apply a no-show fee when an appointment is missed without notice; this helps us protect time that could have been offered to another family in need. For meetings or consultations that fall outside of one of our plans, an hourly rate may apply. We make every effort to communicate any associated costs clearly and upfront before work begins, and we're sorry if that expectation wasn't met in your experience.
