Adam Stone Hicks

Adam is a 30-year attorney and a veteran of the U.S. Navy with extensive experience in estate planning and trust administration. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, he served six years as a Surface Warfare Officer before earning my J.D. from Mercer University and being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1995. He is passionate about helping clients understand the importance of creating estate plans to protect their families. His background includes work in estate planning, business formation, and financial advising, which allows him to address a variety of client needs. As a member of a blended family, Adam has devoted significant time to developing strategies that address the unique challenges of estate planning for blended families.

Over the years, he became increasingly frustrated with the traditional billable hour model in legal practice. This led Adam to establish Lanier Law Group, where he focuses on creating estate plans using a flat fee approach.
