My goal is for you to go about your life and work secure in the knowledge that your legal affairs are being professionally handled to your satisfaction. Whether the matter involves injuries to your health, family relationships, your business or real estate, or threats to your liberty I will aggressively advocate for you with both skillful negotiation and aggressive litigation. Of equal importance, you will get honest answers to your questions.
I have over 16 years of experience and have resolved hundreds of civil and criminal actions in the state and federal courts of Georgia involving catastrophic personal injuries, domestic relations, state and federal felony and misdemeanor charges, and real estate and business disputes. I am also well versed in adoptions and probate litigation.
Completing a two year judicial clerkship with the Superior Court of Rockdale County after law school provided a unique and strong foundation for a broad based litigation practice that attorneys who did not complete a judicial clerkship simply do not have. Also, during law school I completed an internship with the Federal Defender Program, and clerked for the renowned criminal defense lawyer and law professor Mark J. Kadish. This provided me an exceptional foundation in the practice of state and federal criminal defense law. For the past several years I have served as both the City Attorney for the Mayor and City Council Statesboro as well as the Solicitor for the Municipal Court of Statesboro. If you are having issues with a local government other than the City of Statesboro I can certainly assist you in this unique area of law.

Mr. Leaphart is a wonderful listener, cares about his customers, keeps you informed and up to date on your particular case. I would highly recommend him and would contract him again. I appreciate his kind matter and ease, made me feel comfortable at all times.
"I very much endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Leaphart for many years. I have worked with him on cases and have seen him handle matters on his own. He is always well prepared and does an excellent job. You can't find a better Attorney for what you need."
