Marnique Williams Oliver

I hired Ms. Oliver to assist with a modification of child support/visitation. The whole case was handled in a shoddy, incompetent and disorganized manner. Ms. Oliver never drafted the Parenting Plan to submit to the other attorney but waited to receive one from the other party instead. Clearly it was... written in her client's favor. We called Ms. Oliver to discuss the situation and she was rude, saying she had to leave for the day, ( at 2pm and 2 days before court, we took the situation into our own hands and worked on drafting a revision of the Parenting Plan, which were able to present to the other attorney the day of court and obtain everything that we wanted DESPITE Ms. Oliver's incompetence and her trying to get me to "settle" with the other parties' demands. Ms. Oliver worked at most 5 hours on this case and still pretended that she had earned the full $4,000 retainer. After court we asked for an itemized bill fully expecting a refund, but got a huge slap in the face - an itemized bill claiming that we now owed her $709! Run the other way with your money.

Ms. Oliver handled my child custody case and she was amazing! She had short notice and still had everything written up and answered the day I hired her. We went to court a week later and she made sure the bogus mud slinging my ex tried went nowhere. She worked hard and had mine and my children's v...ery best interest at heart. She was very understanding of what i had been going through and knew exactly how to counter the accusations to show they were untrue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ms. Oliver!!!
