Michael Lee Thompson

Michael is an associate at the McArthur Law Firm focusing his practice on personal injury litigation. Michael represents victims and their families who have been injured in car or truck wrecks, medical malpractice, and other causes of catastrophic injury or wrongful death. Michael is passionate about guiding clients through all phases of the legal process and ensuring they receive dedicated and thoughtful representation.

Prior to joining the McArthur Law Firm, Michael began his career as an associate with a mid-sized litigation firm focusing his practice on liability defense representing individuals, insurance carriers, and government entities in personal injury litigation.

Michael was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia. He attended undergrad at the University of Georgia and graduated with honors in 2016. Following undergrad he attended law school at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2019. During law school, Michael was a summer clerk for the Honorable John J. Ellington at the Georgia Court of Appeals prior to Judge Ellington’s ascension to the Georgia Supreme Court. While in law school, Michael was a member of UGA’s Mock Trial program and regularly participated as an advocate on behalf of the school.
