The Platt Law Firm was founded in 2008. Over the years, individuals and families have been represented in a wide range of domestic relations legal issues, as well as representation in entertainment law. At The Platt Law Firm, the goal is not to be a high-volume firm, but to provide quality attention and representation for every client. The Platt Law firm handles Domestic Relations, Special Education (including IEPs and 504 Plans), and Entertainment Law matters in the metro-Atlanta area, including but not limited to: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, and Henry counties. Some cities include Roswell, Alpharetta, Marietta, Canton, Woodstock, Cumming, and Norcross.

Attorney Kristin Zimmerman received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Sewanee: The University of the South. She received her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law where she was actively incolced with Crisis Ministries Homeless Justice Project and Juris One, the sports and entertainment law society. She is now a member attorney for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, which is a nonprofit organization that provides legal assistance and educational programming to artists and arts organizations throughout Georgia. Kristy is currenly on the Board of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
