Not the most knowledgeable/thorough

We hired her just to confirm we were doing our paperwork right for the K1 Visa. I was aware of my processes and I did 99% of the application already but concerned about having something wrong on my application and receive and RFE or denial from the USCIS. ISSUE #1, when consulting with her, she was n...ot knowledgeable about the Public Charge rule that was going into effect at the time, yet me (who's not a lawyer) was very much savvy to it from lawyers I found on youtube and being up to date in immigration news. I sent her some articles and links to the lawyers on youtube to her so that she can stay up to date.. that should have warned me to stop there. ISSUE #2, we received an RFE because of an error that SHE made on our paperwork (this error was not on the copy I gave her). A lawyer is to ensure your paper work is accurate, not make additional errors. The RFE also had errors that I already questioned her about when we went over everything. Her suggestions is what we put on the application, so when I told her that's the other reason for the RFE she casually said, "oh I guess they didn't like that, so now we know!"... one would think as an immigration lawyer you would know what is the best to send to USCIS and not guess and "now you know" for next time. On top of that, she didn't even bother to contact us when the RFE arrived, which she received the letter from USCIS as well. I had to finally reach out to her instead. ISSUE #3 She did not follow up with is for several months. I had already started doing the rest of the work on my own working with the embassies and NVC by following advice from those lawyers I follow on youtube. She eventually sends an email about things but it was regarding things I've already gone done and knew about. I reminded her that it had been months and we had not heard anything since that RFE and we were very disappointed in her service. I would think at the least she would refund some of the money or offer a discount or free service. But she insulted me further by not even remembering her error, (I had to send screenshots of the conversation to show her errors). She apologized but it's already a slap in the face. Then wanted me to follow her videos on Facebook to keep up and let me know when I want to pay for the next service... We paid around $800 for sloppy work and if I wanted those kind of results I could have done the paperwork (as I did afterwards) without her for free. So why would I pay even further?? VERY disappointing! To not make it completely horrible, she is very polite. I am unsure if she just started her practice and we were among the first for her to make errors, and if so I will giver her that if that's the case. Her few reviews were great and she was local, which is why I went to her originally. But I don't like paying hundreds to someone who is not attentive to her work or to her customers.

We are very sorry that this client was unhappy. If any client is having a problem with our service, we want to know about it right away so that we can resolve the issue quickly and to his or her satisfaction. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to discuss this situation confidentially. During the shutdown in 2020, Audra was the only one in the office, and unfortunately, it was hard to keep up with our normal way of doing business, which is extreme care and dedication to each case that we have. Audra does know all about the public charge rule and requirements, and the forms which are no longer in use (Form I-944 and Form DS 5540) and we apologize for any typos on the form. The RFE was handled, the case was approved, and we hope that this client has completed the immigration process. We have shifted and now are fully operational again, and it is our goal to be sure that every client is served to the best of our ability!

Clearly experienced, calmed us down

Audra Doyle helped my wife and I through the entire marriage immigration process. We met with her multiple times throughout our work together, and each time she told us explicitly what we should expect, how to prepare, and when the next dates for steps would occur. I am extremely happy with her servi...ce and hope anyone seeing this will take her under consideration as their attorney for immigration related matters.
