Horrible Representation!

I have had the worst experience working with this attorney ever! Anne came recommended by another attorney whom. With the understanding that she was a fairly new attorney, when I spoke with her she seemed aggressive and ready to go to work for me as her client. I trusted her and initially felt that s...he had my best interest in mind. However, soon after the consultation I learned that the respondent’s attorney and Anne were friends and went to law school together!! Anne represented me in a child support, legitimization, visitation case, however it felt as if she was making sure that the other party got what she wanted. The respondent’s attorney would make request and she would just go with it! Never asking me if dates and times worked for me as her client. The other attorney (her friend) had an intern do most of the work and whatever the respondent requested, she got!!! When I hired Anne, I gave her EVERYTHING she need and she gave me figures that I could live with! Once it came down to it, she just went with whatever came her way, NEVER FIGHTING FOR ME!!! I have a 9 year old daughter in FL who was not considered at all and the CS figures I am having to pay an astronomical amount for one child! Who pays $900 a month for one child and gets the worse visitation agreement in the world. If the best interest is of the child, wouldn't him spending time with me as his father and getting to know who I am be beneficial to him? Not according to Anne, she didn't fight for me not one iota. She would talk about things that we talk about with the other attorney! Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. I feel so railroaded, by the attorney I hired to represent me and also the mediator who was also female! DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!! On top of everything else, this attorney would send me text messages to call her then charge me for the call, for her parking at the court house and anything else she could think of just to nickel and dime me. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, during mediation this attorney came up with an agreement for me to sign an affidavit for a criminal case that was frivolously created from a TPO that was ultimately DISMISSED by a Fulton court judge! I made it very clear that I did not want to sign an affidavit to bargain with a woman who has caused so much drama in my life and played with my livelihood almost causing me to lose my job of 15 years! I have a case where I am the victim and she has one claiming to be the victim. The difference is, the respondent used the TPO that was frivolous to file charges against me because my wife called her job, ONLY for the purposes of asking how can the process server serve her at work (the process sever that Anne hired). Knowing there was an active TPO, instead of hiring a Sherriff, she hired a process server who asked me and my wife to find out is the respondent was at work and the procedures for serving her!! This violated the TPO. I know the case will be dismissed just as the TPO was! But I had placed in case, had to hire another attorney, lose time at work and bond out, ALL BECAUSE SHE FAILED TO USE THE SHIRRIFF!!! Overall, Anne was more concerned with her friend and me signing that affidavit to let the respondent off more than anything!! The case was against me vs. the state, so why do I need to have her sign an affidavit saying that she won’t testify, and me sign an affidavit saying I won’t testify against her in a case where I am as the victim! Anne is a FAMILY LAW attorney and needs focus on sharpening her skills as a Family Law attorney because she let an intern beat her! At the end of the day, I have never heard of someone bargaining criminal cases for child support!! After I declined to sign the criminal affidavit, SHE WITHDREW from my case! Her concern was the respondent when I was paying her to do a job for me! Then she sent me a bill of all this charges, failed to include 2 checks that she had already cashed, failed to show me where my retainer fee was spent!

Most personal legal experience I've ever had

I've hired lawyers a handful of times and never know who to go to. A friend recommended Anne to me, and I'll never look anywhere else again. She answered questions around the clock and I didn't feel nickled and dimed like I have with other attorneys. I first hired her to help me with my will and then... re-hired her again for a separation / divorce issue and had the best experience both times. I felt listened to and cared for. Can't recommend Anne enough.

"I'm an appellate lawyer. I review the work of other lawyers for a living. Any time I talk to Anne, she is deeply immersed in her work. She agonizes over evidence questions. She stresses over strategy. She makes it a point to return phone calls quickly and let every client know that their fight is her fight. By the time she gets to court, she is alarmingly prepared. While opposing counsel fumbles over Exhibit 1, she's handing a tabbed three-ring binder to the judge in a font she spent time deciding on. When a friend or family member needs a family lawyer, I don't hesitate. I recommend Anne. If you try her, you'll do the same."
