As I look back on this journey, I am amazed at how awesome God is and how I met Attorney Bill Claxton. I suffered a tremendous loss when I was held at gunpoint & carjacked on May 31st, 2015. I had no idea what to do or where to turn to in a legal sense. I had no desire to file a lawsuit but a lady fr...om my job at the time, referred me to Attorney Raymond, who then referred me to a "bull dog" of a lawyer, the one, the only Attorney Bill Claxton. From the beginning, Attorney Bill listened to my concerns, how I felt, the important things in the case, and I was satisfied. I was dealing with a lot of anxieties, stresses, psychological trauma due to incident, suicidal thoughts, hard time sleeping, and had to consult with a therapist. Through all that I was going through during the time I got to know Attorney Bill, he was more than supportive of my situation. Even to the point when I had lost my job, he told me "Everything would work out and that I was a well-educated young Haitian American man, who would go on to do great things." Attorney Bill kept my morale up when it was down and especially when I was discouraged, he encouraged me and told me that everything would work out. I appreciate him so much and know that nothing in life happens through mere coincidence or by chance. I believe everything in life happens for a true and distinct reason that you can build from and learn to grow from. Throughout the case, Attorney Bill was a "bull dog", relentless in his efforts, wouldn't take no for an answer, explained everything to me, didn't hide things from me, and was extremely transparent about everything including court dates, proceedings, mediation, and every other lawyer "lingo". I was well informed and he made sure that I was always prepared for what I would face. I have never filed a lawsuit before, so considering that, Attorney Bill made the entire experience enjoyable, comfortable, and pleasant to understand what was going on. Every question I had pertaining to the case, Attorney Bill answered all of them directly and if for any reason he may have not known the answer, he would always direct me in the right path or call me with the answer at a later time. Attorney Bill helped me cope with all I was dealing with, including the loss of my possessions, girlfriend at the time, job loss, PTSD, seeing therapist, loss of vehicle, and retrieval of it thereafter. Thanks for being an awesome lawyer and really having my best interest at heart! The fact that this case was important to me along with all I was going through, it was also important to him as well. He put this case as top priority I felt, with every defeat leading to victory, he continued to encourage me and kept me informed on what was going on either through e-mail or phone call. If I could do it again a hundred more times, I would ask Attorney Bill Claxton to defend my case with God's help of course. I am a man of faith and believe that this was ordained by God, that I met Attorney Bill for a true reason and I have learned so much about the law, what lawyers do, the game, and so much more. I have come away with this experience as having insight on what preparation needs to take place in order to get the job done the right way. Attorney Bill is all about getting the job done right and meeting all your needs based upon the case at hand. I got to know a little about his likes/dislikes, his family, and his long career as being a lawyer for 30 years of practice. One of many things that struck me was that he was fair minded, believed in justice, right of the people, fair share, built on a morale foundation, and told the truth. Also, he doesn't defend any old crumby case that's full of lies and deceit. He took this case, I believe because he saw the good in me and how I was suffering psychologically, spiritually, physically, and mentally. Attorney Bill Claxton wanted to assist and be involved in any way he could. He did a great job from the beginning, nearly a year later I'm thankful!

I am former Army Ranger and working as a private contractor for the Constellis Group previously known as "Blackwater" in Saudi Arabia. I contacted Mr. Claxton because I believed I had a defamation case and after Mr. Claxton spent over an hour listening to me, he advised I didn't have sufficient evide...nce for a Libel case, but thought that I might be able to pursue a Qui Tam case. The next day the two of us send another hour with an attorney that specialized in Qui Tam cases. In the end, there wasn't sufficient criteria necessary to pursue a Qui Tam case either, but I was so impressed that Mr. Claxton would invest so much time in trying to help me that anyone who is interested in talking to an intelligent, caring and knowledgeable attorney needs to seriously consider contacting this gentleman for an honest opinion and case assessment and has the knowledge and integrity to give you the information to make the right decision. truthfully evaluate and take on your case.

Mr. Claxton name came up frequently on a lot of web sites. My name and picture were put on local television web site as being involved in prostitution that was part of story run on broadcast. After meeting, bill wrote letter to tv station with a copy of the lawsuit he was going to file. The company... met and asked us to go to mediation where after a great power point presentation and 6 hours of negotiating, we settled the defamation case for great amount. Definitely worth going the best choice.
