Child Support

I was not looking forward to having to take my ex-husband back to court, due to not paying court ordered child support. I came across Mr. Peter Gross and was impressed with him, he actually listened to me (after having talked with a few other attorneys and not impressed). Once I hired him in Dec 201...5, he started the required legal document and we went to court in March 2016. Before going to court, he actually reached out to my ex-husband at my request on a few occasions and tried to come to an agreement with him. My ex-husband confirmed to me that he did receive Mr. Gross's voice messages, but he did not want to talk with him, he only wanted to deal with me and I refused. I told him, he needed to work out an agreement with my attorney. My ex-husband never returned any of Mr. Gross's phone calls, therefore we went to court in March 2016. My ex-husband was a no show to court, my attorney shared with the judge that he had reached out to my ex-husband with no success. The judge awarded me over $28K plus my attorney fees. I’m very pleased with the outcome and how quickly Mr. Gross's was able to get things done. Divorce is very difficult but when children are involved and one or both parents are nasty to each other, it is even worse. Therefore, I feel that some attorney take advantage of the bad situation and Mr. Gross's did not do that. I would highly recommend Mr. Gross's to others.

Family Lawyers that treat you as if you are family and not a paycheck.

My attorney was Peter Gross. He took my case which was multifaceted, regarding child support, visitation, custody, and even took into account out of state complications. His attention to detail was and is astounding, he never offered false assurance, instead he was completely transparent with me. Thi...s quality alone speaks volumes as to his character. It is far better to be told the honest truth, than to receive false comfort followed by disappointment when things do not go according to what you are told. He was meticulous with my case, exploring every facet and possible outcome with me, never offering me any false reassurance. Everytime I had a question or called with a concern he made sure to call me directly and address them with me. He never backed down, not to opposing council or anyone. He found the best avenues to engage with my case and pursued them vigorously. In the end my case was even settled out of court, due to his negotiating skills with the opposing council. The outcome was more than I could have hoped for, he is a blessing in a suit. In the end he did what was best for me and the individuality of my case. He never treated me like a number, or told me his caseload prevented him for working on my case. He is not just my lawyer now, now he is family, which is what he represents and fights for. Honestly a five star rating is just not enough for this man. He reminds you that you are a person, your issues really matter, he takes his time to make sure he addresses the things that are most important to you and your case. Lawyer, no, he's a highly educated family man, who found his true calling as a lawyer. He will fight for you, and if it means going the distance in front of a judge, we'll he's ready for that too. Would I hire him again....honestly, I wouldn't hire anyone else! Thank you Peter Gross, more than this review can ever express my eternal gratitude for what you accomplished with my case.

DON'T USE THIS GUY!!!!

Mr.Gross never returns phone calls, emails, nor voicemails. He was slack on my paperwork, my divorce was delayed for 6mths until even receiving a court date . He explained the mishandling of my file was due to bad help. After finally getting a court date, this guy cancels my day in court to start wor...king for my wife by providing me with her list of demands. Never once did he ask me what were my demands. His professional advise to me was keep it simple and be the bigger person. Keeping it simple cost me more money, lost visitation with my kids, and almost my case. I paid him upfront to handle to resolve my divorece and custody battle short of submitting paperwork, he did nothing! After writing him a letter about the concerns about how he was handling my case (of course he didn't return my phone calls), he decides it is best for him to remove himself from my case. In the process he creates a new bill for me stating I owe him more money; mind you he hasn't completed the job I paid him up front for. I NEVER WENT TO COURT AND I'M STILL BEING DENIED VISITATON EVEN THOUGH I PAY CHILD SUPPORT! This guy is bogus has no real background in family law or divorce...don't waste your time or money. This guy will ruin your life!
