This lawyer somehow misplaced an email form the opposing party that was looking for settlement terms for 13 days. He excuse was there was another email sent the other day so somehow she missed the second one. After somehow missing seeing the email, she then ignored any request I made of her for an...other 12 days I had to escalate to senior party to even get her to call me back. You think after the senior party was notified that she would be better after. No she got worse. She wouldn't respond to most of my queries for status updates. . She did not let me proof read a settlement offer before it was sent to the opposing party. It had factual errors and placeholder from a template. I had fire her for cause. And my entire retainer was refunded after almost 3 months of working on my case, which if you know lawyers they don't do that. If she gets assigned to your case I recommend asking for another lawyer.

I hired Ms. Roy to litigate a settlement with a co-owner of a former home of mine. She was very poor with her communication. Even after everything was over and she received her pay, I tried to contact her via e-mail, phone call, and text for the tax documents the following year, and she never respo...nded. I think that's very rude and horrible customer service.
