A Brilliant Lawyer, A Good Man

We hired Mike for a case and his vast knowledge base and his ability to analyze situations from many different viewpoints is amazing to watch and even better to be it's beneficiary. Mike takes great pride in his work and is a professional in the truest sense of the word. He takes the trust his clien...ts put in him very seriously and works diligently and efficiently, managing comprehensiveness and cost extremely well. As important as intelligence and ability are in the field of law, honor and integrity are at least their equal. Mike is the epitome of what a good lawyer should be. I trust him without reservation.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. The drop-down categories above do not permit adequate descriptions. I have both worked for (as an associate) and been a partner with Mike Trotter over the course of almost 30 years of practice. He was initially a mentor, then a colleague, and he remains a dear friend. Also, I endorse him across the spectrum of corporate and securities law, and as a preeminent counselor to clients about legal and strategic matters more broadly."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
