Leigh Faulk Cummings has practiced family law exclusively for over thirteen years. Ms. Cummings began her legal career with one of the largest boutique family law firms in the southeast, where she was a partner, and opened her own law firm in 2016. 

Since beginning her legal career in 2002, Ms. Cummings has tried divorce and custody cases throughout metropolitan Atlanta, earning a reputation with her clients and her peers as a valued legal counselor to families in sensitive situations or times of trouble as well as an esteemed trial lawyer.

Ms. Cummings has been named a “Rising Star”, a "Super Lawyer" and a "Top Woman Lawyer" by Super Lawyers magazine.  Ms. Cummings has also been named as one of the "Legal Elite" by Georgia Trend magazine.

Ms. Cummings is a frequent lecturer on various family law topics, including divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, and the financial considerations of divorce. Her expert commentary on these topics and others has appeared in numerous national newspapers and media outlets, including the Associated Press, Reuters, and the Fulton County Daily Report.

A native of Atlanta, Ms. Cummings is a graduate of The Lovett School and of the University of Virginia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English. She went on to earn her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. While at Georgia State, Ms. Cummings earned the school’s Intellectual Property award and served as a member of the Honor Counsel.

Ms. Cummings is an active member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is also an active member and program chair of The Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court, a leading legal organization that promotes excellence in professionalism and ethics.

Leigh and her husband are the proud parents of one young son. She and her family are members of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Atlanta. In her leisure, Leigh enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
