Over approximately a year, Brian worked very hard to get me a plea under the First Offender Act that also saved me from prison time. Initially, the prosecutor's office asked for prison time for a non-violent crime and several years of probation. As of today, I'm only on probation which is a world of ...difference. I firmly believe that without Brian (and Lawrence) my sentence would have been much more severe.
