I unreservedly and unequivocally recommend Steven Hardy. I hold him in the highest possible regard. Steven represented me in a difficult case related to breach of contract in a sweat-equity partnership agreement. As a young doctor I was seemingly powerless to defend myself against the firm for ...wrongful termination, to recoup unpaid wages, and to recover value for the sweat equity that I had invested for future partnership. Steven carefully listened to my impression of the situation to understand my specific problem. He reviewed all of the documentation I provided. Then he began to focus on what my objectives were and my specific needs. We discussed options and the implications of each. Steven’s organization of the presentation of my case was excellent. It was concise and logical – and even though it was complicated, it was easy for the judge to understand. He encouraged me to present the evidence in first person. When contradictory positions were presented he quickly and effectively diminished their truthfulness and validity rendering them unimportant. We received judgment in our favor. In the courtroom Steven made it look easy. I’ve heard it said that, “If getting judgment was easy getting settlement won’t be.” Ours was no exception to the cliché. Steven continued to exhibit excellence and methodical effectiveness as he undertook the actions to gain an effective settlement. The defense feinted appeal, dropping their case at the eleventh hour due to his posture and continued pressure. Nonetheless we were required to conduct an asset seizure to satisfy the award. Throughout the defense’s façades and charades he assured me that the legal process would prevail. Thanks to him it did. The intimidation, slander and deep-pockets of the firm were no match.
