I went through two other lawyers locally when I was recommended to Larry. I was pretty much told my case and my evidence were not enough by the others. But I knew different and Larry saw it as well. His expertise and guidance got my son back in GA and in a true 50/50 agreement. Larry is not a goo...d lawyer, he is a great lawyer. No, he is not cheap but you will get what you paid for. $250 per hour budget lawyers are not gonna cut it in a nasty custody battle. That's just the cold hard truth.

I hired Larry because he said he became a lawyer to make people happy. He is somewhat of a devil's advocate, and this may be a challenge for you if you just want somebody to vent about your ex. I was defending a custody case and often it seemed to me we were doing too much prep because I thought I... had a slam dunk case. He told me right away that the process is not predictable and that judges often rule in unexpected ways. He was right, during the court case the opposing (big law firm) lawyer put up an emotional case and at times I was even wondering if I could lose. Luckily all the prep helped the judge see right through it all and rule in our favor. Thanks Larry.

After the horrific first year of my divorce, I switched to Larry and found that, while his rates seem high to someone from out-of-state, he uses his retainer wisely and gets quick results. My family and I view Larry as a true godsend in our lives. He has great empathy for those suffering due to dom...estic violence, and he seems to have a better than average sixth sense about what a wiley abuser will do next. I truly believe that he helped save my son's life.

Like the previous reviews said, your retainer(s) are gone in a flash!!! He will keep you on the phone or have you talk about irrelevant things during your time with him to waste your money, when you are able to get ahold of him. I used him 2 years ago and he told me that if we did not win our case i...n trail because of the particular way a judge tended to rule, that we should take it up to the Appellate Courts because they are more "reasonable". Stupid me, I believed he cared (when all he rally wanted, it seemed, was to get in my pants (surprise!) and my money) and we took it to the appellate and the GA supreme court, and we LOST BOTH!! Out almost 30k, with NOTHING to show for it except anger and frustration. Every other attorney I talked with about my case has told me that I was represented poorly and that I was misled about the Appellate courts overruling Trail Courts' decisions. PLEASE CONSULT WITH *SEVERAL* OTHER ATTORNEYS FIRST AND DO IT CAREFULLY!!! Do not be fooled by the "free" water/coffee and nice office views. You and the other (soon-to-be) poor suckers are the ones paying for them.
