My experience with Mr. Brittain left me hating and mistrusting Legal professionals. He and his associate, Mr. Miller worked on a contract issue as well as Estate Planning for my mother and I. When I asked for legal advice on both issues, he avoided answering any questions directly. Instead he threw out a host of possible scenarios and directions that could be taken - none that seemed to be in mine or my mother's best interest. Each would simply extend any possible resolution and continue billable hours. When I continued to press for answers to one issue, he eventually admitted he was not familiar with the laws in that particular state. But, this is what we hired him for. Why didn’t he spend a few minutes and find out?
Since I could not seem to gain any actual legal advice from the lawyers during the process, I researched these matters on the internet. I found all the answers I was looking for and more. At the final meeting, again I solicited legal advice about the action I intended on taking based on my research findings. I was met with allegations insinuating betrayal towards my mother. This was not only unprofessional but absolutely rude. Once they gave me a chance to explain the entirety of the plan, they understood that she would continue to have total control over her estate.
I waited a few months before writing this review to make sure not to embellish the facts of the matter. I thought that the ill feelings may simply pass. But I still remember it like yesterday. Concisely, I do not trust Mr. Brittain or his firm to perform any legal services on my behalf.

Rick is amazing! It's not only his skill and acument that's impressive...it's his ability to be politely persistent that produce results. During the life of the case, I've never felt I was without representation. The best thing about Rick is that he communicates. He tells you more than you want to know sooner than you'd want to know it. His character has been stellar. I've gained a friend in knowing him and I'd HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
