Ethics are still alive and well.
Re Mr. Saltzman, I laid a difficult case in his lap, but he was not the least bit "ruffled" by it. He began work immediately and he and his staff kept me informed all the way through. They have accomplished a lot in a short time in this complicated case already.
When I "interviewed" Mr. Sal...tzman before hiring him, I was impressed with his background of having worked for a public defender for a while, as well as clerking for an appellate judge, as I recall. But, his work for the public defender touched a chord with me. That he was willing to share his excellent skills with those less fortunate meant a lot to me.. Also, his belief, as my own, that everyone, absolutely everyone, deserves a fair trial made me most certain I had chosen the right attorney to represent me in my personal injury/premises liability case.
I've been a difficult client in that my injuries were painful and severe, left me very weak, and did not allow me to be as helpful to his legal team as I had wished. I've been around lawyers enough in business settings that I had hoped to be able to assist them with getting my evidence together, etc., Unfortunately, my health has been quite negatively affected since the incident for which he is representing me. However, this attorney did not see the state of my health as a liability and gently got from me the information he needed to put things together, as did his most patient legal assistant. With their hard work and expertise, my case has moved along well, after all.
We are hopeful for a positive settlement to avoid the rigors of a courtroom on this case. But, I have no doubt Mr. Saltzman knows his way around a courtroom quite well and will be a formidable adversary in such a setting, while keeping his professional demeanor intact.. He has proven that already to me in his responses to the opponents as the case has progressed.
I am very grateful that he took my case. No matter what the eventual outcome, I will know that all has been done that could be done to achieve a favorable outcome in this matter, while maintaining high ethical standards. I could not ask for more. Many thanks.
