I've had the pleasure of consulting with Ms. Selassie twice. The first time was after fleeing from my abusive husband. I was rattled, scared, and uncertain about next steps. Ms. Selassie was compassionate, calm, and pragmatic. She validated my fear, affirmed my need to separate, and provided sou...nd legal advice. I was able to approach my situation head on, with a calm, clear mind. My second conversation was about retaining counsel. My divorce case was complex and I couldn't find an affordable lawyer. Although she couldn't help me, she once again provided sound advice. She explained the process my case would go through pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of representing myself, and left me feeling hopeful. I don't wish divorce on anyone, especially one with abuse, but if you need help, please know Ms. Selassie is a wonderful legal counselor. This company is amazing!!! I am a single mother with 2 small children and filed for a divorce in December of 2019. She shows you exactly what to do and what to say to represent yourself in court and she doesn’t charge you thousands of dollars up front to retain her services. She is a true lifesaver for women like me who are not able to pay for legal fees and childcare. It wasn’t until I found her (A YEAR AFTER FILING FOR DIVORCE) that I finally got child support and things started moving in the right direction. The court system can and will take advantage of the people who lack and understanding of the legal field and lawyers can and will do the same which is why it is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE to find a person you can trust. At this point, I trust this woman with my life. She is saving me and my kids from losing our home, helped me get the financial support that I need for my children, and she is always available when I need assistance. I need it to review if that’s the case with an attorney to see what was the appropriate form of action.
