What a horrendous experience with Oliver Hughes Law! Mine is a straightforward contractor damage case, and they’ve stretched this out for nine months and charged me over $11,000 (not including a $3000 overcharge I discovered - yes, a $3000 charge with no apology!) and this case is still not settled.... My attorney left the firm in the middle of my case, he wasn’t even there for a year. Lots of staff turnover, poor communication, and I’ve had to send multiple requests to get copies of billing statements and court motions which were filed on my behalf (that I’ve paid for). I sent two emails to Ashley Hughes (Chief Legal Officer), expressing my concerns and apparently, she’s too important to respond. Too much frustration, highly questionable billing practices, way too many red flags. I’ve fired them and gone with another law firm and they’re still trying to bill me, and it took 10 days to receive my case file. Please note that on their website they only preview the 5-star reviews, this one is not listed. Truly regret hiring this law firm!
