Keith Antonio Lamar Jr.

Attorney Keith Lamar Jr. is the founder and managing attorney of The Law Offices of Keith Lamar Jr. Keith was born in Macon, Georgia and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. After graduating from Stephenson High School, Keith went on to receive his B. A. in Political Science from Morehouse College and his J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. Since being admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia, he has handled over 1000+ criminal and civil matters. Keith has worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia. While working at the Fulton County District Attorney Office Keith was given the privilege to supervise the Community Prosecution Division. While at the D.A.’s Office, Keith was recognized as the Non-Complex Attorney of the Year, Fulton County Employee of the Year, and Fulton County Public Service Award. He was also recognized for receiving one of the fastest verdict in Fulton County history that resulted in a successful prosecution. He has served as a board member for the National District Attorney Association and also served as the National President of the National Black Prosecutor Association. Keith also serves on the Advisory Board for the American University School of Public Affairs where he is helping work on criminal justice reform and case management.
