Jonathan Marcus Woods

Jonathan Marcus Woods, a native of New York City, graduated from Princeton University and the Florida State University College of Law. Before entering law school, Jon enjoyed a successful first career as a local government official in South Florida and then as a political consultant.

After law school, Jon served as an electronic discovery consultant to Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Hunker Appeals, Jon distinguished himself as a trial attorney in the state courts of Georgia with a focus on business litigation, residential and commercial contractor disputes, personal injury claims and defenses, uninsured automobile accident cases, defense of subrogation claims, first-party insurance cases, homeowner association matters, landlord tenant law (commercial and residential), and debt collection and debtors rights. Jon also represents businesses in transactional and regulatory matters. He serves as Deputy General County for the Zigong Lantern Group which is a leading player in the light show market space with hundreds of successful shows at major venues internationally.

These experiences have provided Jon not only with a broad understanding of the law but deep insights into what drives legal conflicts. Jon now puts a lifetime of experience to work for the clients of Hunker Appeals. He lives in Atlanta with his lovely wife Lydia.
