I was stopped at a red light and got rear-ended, the other driver was ticketed. I hired David Van Sant. David Van Sant explained how he was going to defend me. I was confident, until cort. In cort he did nothing to defend me. The
stragies discussed were never used in cort. I explained that when I w...as hit, how my head hit the winsheld, David Van Sant, said what ever you do don't say that in cort. I had around $12,000.00 in medical bills, and was awarded around $6,000.00. I had whiplash, as a hairstylist it was very painful, having to work, as I had no other way of paying my bills. After cort, I seen one of the jurs walking, I stopped and gave him a ride home. He apologized for their decision. He said that my attorney just didn't defend me. I went back to the law office and explained that I didn't feel that I was properly repasented. In return they said they got the rest of the medical bills written off, and gave me a check for $1000.00. I feel that David Van Sant cut a deal with the lawyer for the man who rear-ended me. While awaiting cort, both lawyer's talked in private leaving me wondering what was going on. My attorney should have been with me not the other side. I have read some of the reveiws, and find it odd that when you don't agree with David Van Sant, they have no record of you. I am not saying David Van Sant can't or will not defend you properly. I am saying he did not with me. So you have a 50/50 chance. Ask yourself if it's worth the risk.
