I focus my practice on white collar criminal matters, corporate internal investigations, qui tam/false claims act/whistleblower suits, and complex civil litigation. Before joining Krevolin & Horst, I served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia for 8 years. My role as a federal prosecutor allowed me to gain extensive experience in conducting grand jury investigations, trials and prosecuting cases involving fraud, public corruption, money laundering, violent crimes, child exploitation, and immigration. I have also briefed and argued cases before the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to serving as a federal prosecutor, I served as the Deputy Executive Counsel to Georgia Governor Roy Barnes, was an associate at Sutherland, and clerked for the Honorable J.L. Edmondson, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

"I have known Zahra since 2003 when we worked together in the United States Attorney's Office. Zahra earned a phenomenal resume (check out her work experience below--it is amazing). She has been successful at everything that she has done. In addition to being a top-notch trial lawyer, Zahra is also loved and respected in the legal community. She possesses the unique combination of being both a fierce litigator and a genuinely likeable person. I endorse Zahra."
