Shawn Kalfus

Shawn Kalfus focuses his practice on the defense of wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases.

Shawn has extensive experience defending commercial motor vehicle companies, their drivers, and insurers in all aspects of litigation stemming from catastrophic motor vehicle collisions.  In that capacity, Shawn has defended dozens of six and seven-figure claims and lawsuits from moments after the collision through resolution or trial.  

Shawn also has extensive experience defending numerous other types of catastrophic injury cases, including premises liability, products liability, crane and lift accidents, and auto collisions.  In that capacity, Shawn has defended a variety of companies—including apartment complexes, health clubs, restaurant franchises, and automobile dealerships—and their individual owners, officers, and employees.

Shawn has been named one of Georgia’s “Legal Elite” attorneys by Georgia Trend Magazine.  He is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, Atlanta Claims Association, and Transportation Lawyers Association.
