For most of my 50+ years, when attorneys were mentioned in conversation, I would reply with a long list of unflattering comments. But that was before I met Tom Clements. Tom has represented me for 6+ years in a miserable workers comp case against an employer that has seemingly been determined to make my life as miserable as possible. In spite of them, Tom has diligently worked to resolve every issue, and he has done so in a professional and thoughtful manner. I don't know what I would have done without his help. I will be eternally grateful to Tom and his staff for all of their hard work on my behalf. And I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, friendly, hard-working workers comp attorney with a never-give-up philosophy.

I was catastrophically injured while working. For the first 16 years, and after interviewing with many attorneys, I had given up hope of ever being represented. The extent of my injuries, and the permanent effects of them ( I was permanently paralyzed) made it unlikely that any settlement would be possible, so most attorneys declined to take the case, since it would be expensive for them and unlikely to pay off. Clements and Sweet took my case, though, and through ten long and active years, represented my interests far beyond any expectations I might have had. They never hesitated to go to court to force my employer to fulfill their legal obligations to me.
In the State of Georgia, Workers Compensation is covered by a special set of laws set apart from standard Civil Law. There are specific and limited areas of compensation, and attorneys for employers are known to exploit these factors well, often to the detriment of injured employees. During my years without representation, I was compelled by necessity to learn a lot about Workers Compensation law, and I also know from that, the knowledge, experience, and competence about Workers Compensation Law that Clements and Sweet has is second to none in Georgia.
Apart from my own case, I am familiar with several other injured employees who have been represented by Clements and Sweet, and in every case they represented each employee to the best benefit of the employee, not to "make a fast buck." In my opinion, they are at the top of a very short list of good lawyers, and I cannot imagine a better choice for any injured employee for the best legal representation to be found anywhere in the State of Georgia.

Tom was very easy to work with. He explained everything i needed to know and how to get this case finished up. I was surprised at how easy it was, he took care of everything and kept me informed during the process. Tom was very realistic when it came to the timeline and financial issues. There were no surprises. I would hope in the future I would never need to work with a lawyer, but it I did, I would go contact Tom.
