IME, the really sharp attorneys, civil and criminal, require corroboration and evidence to prove/validate your case and they're not there to make you feel safe or good or.....believed. Mr. steel isn't playing at this. He's fully committed. He's a decent human being and your lucky if he's on your team, ime.
