Andrew advises benefits and human resources personnel on matters pertaining to executive compensation and employee benefits including issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, ADEA, USERRA, FMLA, and various state and federal laws. This often includes:

• Advising clients on the design, implementation and administration of pension and welfare benefit plans and equity compensation plans.
• Advising clients on all aspects of executive compensation including the design, disclosure and implementation of supplemental executive retirement plans, excess benefit plans and employment agreements.
• Preparing discrimination testing.
• Helping clients correct retirement plan and Section 409A errors.

Employee benefits law is complicated and ever evolving. Andrew is always seeking new solutions to clients’ intricate benefits and compensation issues. Working with the complexities of the tax code is a good fit for his engineering background and skills.

Andrew is a registered IRS Tax Preparer, a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
