Biography
I am a licensed specialist in preparing and prosecuting domestic as well as international patent applications (both utility and design), trademarks, and copyrights. I have served as General Counsel to several early stage companies. Part of my expertise involves developing and executing strategies for securing the various aspects of company intellectual property, including portfolio development and maintenance, as well as negotiating and preparing licenses to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

I have played a lead role in securing several high level patent portfolios for large corporations, including Microsoft, Cisco, and Cox. In addition, I have prosecuted patents for other large corporate clients, including educational institutions Georgia Tech, ATT, General Electric, Coca-Cola, Halliburton, and many others.
