Samira Jones Martin

Samira grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University in 1993 and graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000. In law school, Samira was a member of the Moot Court team and she was one of only a few students to ever win both of the top advocate awards: One for being the best oral advocate and the other for writing the best legal brief.

After law school, Samira worked as a litigator for Smith, Gambrell & Russell where she handled business litigation and real estate matters for large corporate clients. She also represented Fulton County, its Sheriff and Tax Commissioner in hundreds of tax appeals, quiet title actions, tax foreclosure cases and other real estate disputes.

Samira handles residential and commercial closings, litigation and trusts and estates. She is a co-board member for the Atlanta Women’s Network and she is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Georgia Bar. She lives in DeKalb County with her husband, Byron and son, Nigel.
