Hired Rachel to protect me and focus on my best interests, yet disregarded the objectives of my case as primary goal became herself and personal needs. Argumentative. Vague. Poor communication skills. Slow to respond. Lack of transparency. Excessively conservative - which meant a lot of money for her... but unnecessary. Brought son to hearings and billed double attorney hours - checking her phone every minute. Beware of block-billing and high increment minimums.

Hired her because she came highly recommended. What a mistake. During the prep for the trial she took multiple personal phone calls from her son. Billing was confusing and expensive. During the trial she forgot evidence twice, charged me to have her paralegal bring it to the trial. Spent several ...valuable court hours researching information that she knew about months before the trial. Failed to bring up important financial considerations. Seemed to be unorganized.

I found Ms. Snider (and her firm) to be in her own best interest. She took her eye off my case, and when our mutual conflict came to a head, she lied to protect herself. No different than most crooks on record. Because of her aggression with my husband, she exacerbated the conflict which, in t...urn, increased her fees. Billing practices were sloppy and fees were outrageous. She exacerbated opposing counsel's accusations. I ended up replacing her a third of the way into my divorce with a lawyer who, by uttering one sentence, "it never happened," ended those accusations and rendered them moot. His fees were just as high, but he and his firm did more work and made more progress for a lot less money. I wouldn't recommend Rachel Snider to my worst enemy. The process of divorce is ugly to start. Don't make it any uglier by hiring this "boutique" attorney.
