Daniel P. Hendrix

Daniel is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  He attended the University of Georgia, where he received his B.A., magna cum laude, in three years.  Prior to entering law school, Daniel worked at a local commercial real estate and land management firm.  Daniel received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University Law School.  While attending GSU, Daniel interned with the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, where he assisted ACCG’s excellent legislative advocacy team research legal issues relating to current and proposed litigation and draft various publications framing common legal issues for local governments.

Daniel joined the Finley Firm in August 2011.  The focal points of Daniel’s practice are insurance defense, especially premises liability matters, and all types of commercial litigation, including real estate disputes, violations of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, construction litigation, landlord/tenant matters, and eminent domain.  Daniel also has extensive experience assisting clients with lease and other contract preparation, as well as business formation documents.  He has also defended Georgia businesses and insurers against workers’ compensation claims and, in the process, litigated and settled numerous such cases.
