Mr. Ball's practice covers a full range of commercial real estate matters including: acquisitions and sales; financing and loan workouts; construction and development; property and facility management contracts; leasing; and homebuilding industry issues. In addition to transactional work, Mr. Ball is an expert in legal and contractual issues arising in operating and managing commercial real estate, as he has served for 14+ years as inside General Counsel to 4 major real estate companies.

Mr. Ball has extensive experience on a full range of construction and development projects including: urban high rise office and mixed use projects; shopping centers; hotels; and large scale residential communities. He has represented commercial developers and homebuilding companies as owner and general contractor dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, insurance companies and government agencies.

Mr. Ball has structured and negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements including: joint ventures and strategic alliances; vendor and supplier agreements; professional services contracts; employment and non-compete agreements; marketing agreements and purchase and sale agreements. In addition, as former inside general counsel for 4 real estate companies, he can also provide tools and training to assist client' field personnel in effectively negotiating and using form contracts.

Mr. Ball's practice includes formation and maintenance of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and other business entities, particularly those related to real estate companies and projects. In addition, through his experience as inside General Counsel to 4 companies, including one Fortune 500, NYSE listed company, he has extensive experience with corporate governance, disclosure and compliance issues.
