Pareesa Hanna Amjadi

I contacted Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly about the recourse that I had for not having my teaching contract renewed. My employer never indicated why it wasn't renewed. After discussing the details of the case to Ms. Amjadi she informed me that the first step would be to write a letter to... have the employer to state officially why my contract was not renewed. I then asked what would be the recourse if the employer refused to respond. She stated "that's a hypothetical situation and we are not going to was our time with those because there is never an ending to hypothetical situations". I therefore put aside my inquiry. Three months later after initially speaking to her and not receiving an answer from my employer I then raised the question again as to what would be my recourse. She circumvented the issue once again. She read to me from the PAGE website (which I had already done before I contacted her) verbatim then told me that concluded my one hour of legal research. What a joke. This is second time that I have felt that she lacked knowledge of the law. I also had a friend (whom I had referred to her) also state that she was a waste of time and lacked proficiency in contract/employment law. She once worked for Gwinnett Courts as a prosecutor. She might be better at criminal law but I would advise to definitely find someone else if you have a contract/employment issue.
