I hired Mary Agramonte in April for a misdemeanor: theft by shoplifting charge in me. I recall the most encouraging words she shared just before my voluntary appearance for jail time: “YOU CAN DO THIS.” These words pulled me through the grueling 8 hour stay. The goal was DISMISSAL of my case. Due to... a previous conviction many many years ago, I thought this was a stretch. Furthermore, I was concerned with the impact on my immigration status. As my lawyer, she stayed focused on the goal and exhibited compassion and confidence at all times. Meanwhile,I took proactive steps to strengthen my resolve. While it wasn’t Mary’s duty to explore the effect of the charge to ly immigration status, she went over and beyond by referring me to a Crimmigration lawyer whom she closely worked with for supporting documentation. At all times, Mary promptly and clearly responded to ky numerous emails and text inquiries. I felt I had developed a very personal relationship with her and that she devoted her 100% attention to it. Closer to my court date , she promptly informed me of what the best scenario I could expect considering a past misdemeanor conviction. On court date and upon my request for a final plea of dismissal, Atty Mary Agramonte came out of the courtroom with the perfect outcome of my case: DISMISSAL . I could not have been prouder and thankful for the opportunity of working with Atty Mary Agramonte. I recommend her to those whose freedom is compromised - she will fight for you!
