Martin Arthur Shelton

Martin's practice focuses on environmental litigation; compliance and permitting; site assessment, clean-up and re-development; sustainability as well as the protection and management of natural resources. He is admitted to practice in the state trial and appellate courts of Georgia, Washington and the District of Columbia, as well as United States Supreme Court, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and Various District Courts. representing plaintiffs in trial and appellate litigation including private enforcement actions throughout the southeast related to water and wetlands pollution, dams, solid and hazardous waste, remediation contribution, air pollution and general land use as well as serving as defense counsel in governmental enforcement actions and property remediation contribution actions. Additionally, he counsels clients on regulatory and permit compliance, Brownfield redevelopment, and sustainability issues

Martin has represented various individuals, neighborhood and community groups in zoning challenges and property use issues.
