Candace Lanette Sneed

During our first meeting Attorney Sneed was attentive and seemed completely capable of handling my case. After I submitted payment, Attorney Sneed was unprofessional and hard to reach. Any information I gained from her came after multiple emails and requests. When she did respond there was usually a ...tone of annoyance. One such email was so rude that Attorney Sneed actually called afterwards to apologize. Aside from our initial meeting, I did not feel as though Attorney Sneed was an advocate for me or particularly concerned. The one time I did get her on the phone the call was dropped on her end. I called back multiple times, text and emailed. This occurred on a Saturday and I did not speak with her again until she arrived to court late on Monday. I felt we were unprepared and found it embarrassing for the judge to ask me to step out in the hall to call my attorney and learn when she’d arrive. I was seeking assistance with a stressful situation and I sincerely feel as though the added stress of an absentee and ineffective attorney made things worse. I debated leaving this review because I realize how it may impact her practice and was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that the subpar representation I received was not typical. Upon reading additional reviews describing the same service I received, I felt it necessary to share my experience. She may be capable of being a good attorney but the severe lack of professionalism, communication and follow through drastically overshadow that.

I hired Candace to represent us in a lawsuit against a contractor. She started out responsive, however, after a couple months she completely disappeared. She changed offices, stopped taking phone calls/text, and complete ignored emails for months. All we wanted was a status update and to know that... she was still working on the case as we discussed. I have not heard from her in about 8 months. She took $5K for a retainer and has not refunded any of the money back that remained and nor did she ever provide a statement of what she billed. She is the worst, we have lost our money, had to hire a new attorney and pay another $5K retainer. We are not rich with unlimited funds. I have reported her to the GA Bar Association.

I'm glad she did a good job for someone, it wasn't us. We hired her to help with a dispute with a jewelry purchase return. She is in breach of our contract with her. She has not returned emails or phone calls in over a month. She did not keep us informed and the only thing we know she did was loo...k at the BBB review & send us a link. We got nothing for the fee we paid her. Would not recommend her at all

I hired attorney Sneed after she was recommended to me. I needed someone quickly as I had a hearing coming up within the week. Ms. Sneed represented me with confidence and success with short notice. Directly after the hearing she presented the ongoing plan to bring my issue to a resolve. I am pleased... to work with such a thorough professional.

She came recommended by a friend who is also a attorney & I must say I don’t regret the decision at all! Facing a eviction and the headache of trying to get my ex apartment complex to comply with my request to fix a mold invested apartment. I consulted with ms sneed and she didn’t sugar coat anything... and was very transparent in the process which I appreciate considering it was my first time seeking counsel. None the less my case she got my case dismissed and I was able to walk away from the lease after 2 months of not paying rent. I highly recommend her! I’ve shared my expierence with all 5,000 of my fb friends, I never do reviews because it’s time consuming but I’m so greatful for the work she did so this was effortless! if I ever need legal help again there’s no doubt who I’m calling !!!
