When trying to support the black owed business of Stacy Lynn Butler

I was referred to Stacy Lynn Butler with an interest in bankruptcy options and I requested to speak with the person I was referred to for the FREE consultation. Never received the free consultation because of the office staff, but this review required I state whether I consulted with Stacey or if l h...ired her neither one happened. This gentleman named Lionel continued to interupt me while I was speaking only to refuse the request Wright was to speak with her. I alk if there was a better time he responds "never, but I can help!" I ask is there a better time for me to call back he responds "no, she doesn't come into the office, but I can help you" I ask are you an attorney he responds "No!, I politely ask " Is there another time to reach out to her, I'd really like to speak with the attorney recommended he responds just tell me what you need! I said thank you for your time and have a nice day. His tone was very very rude. This wasn't what I expected especially in the wake of me supporting black owed businesses. The behavior I experienced today just to speak with the attorney Stacey Lynn Butler was unacceptable and I won't ever support this behavior. As l know my need won't affect your business, I will never allow someone to represent me who doesn't have control of the hired help. He obviously runs this firm and and her too. so when asked would I recommend Attorney Stacey Lynn Butler NO I WOULD NOT!

Thank you for your review Ms. Walker. As with any business, be it black owned or not, there are policies and procedures that are followed. You did call and leave a voicemail at 8:01am on 9/14/20. You did say you were referred to Ms. Butler. I responded between 9-10am first by text message introducing myself and advising you that Stacey was out of the office but I would be happy to assist you. I also advised that we were tied up with court hearings but I would call as soon as possible. I called you as promised and left you a voicemail. You did call back and repeated that you were referred to Stacey. I again advised that she was unavailable, and again offered to help. Instead of accepting my help, you wanted to know when she would be in. I advised that due to c19, she would not be as we all worked remotely, but that again I could help. I tried to inform you that once we figured out why you were calling, and if bankruptcy could help, we would be happy to get you to Stacey. For most people, filing a bankruptcy is very stressful so I understand that some may be a bit high strung and a bit irritable. That is understandable. However, there is a process in this business as there are processes in anyone's place of business that need to be followed. Here, potential clients call and they get screened (referral or not) to see if their situation can be resolved with a bankruptcy or not. Once that is determined (and due to c19), documents are then sent in by the potential client, then we set up an appointment and at that time, that potential client will speak to either their preferred referral attorney or one randomly assigned. Either way, no non-client calls in and consults directly with an attorney. Similar policies exist in every business as it has in our business since inception. There is a reason why we have 19 5 star ratings here and A+ ratings on other sites. Alas, as much as we try, we realize that we cannot please everyone, but we will continue to strive to do so.
