I had her as a court appointed lawyer for my child support/visitation case. Not only is she lazy, she is extremely unprofessional, always tries to handle court cases either the day of court minutes before or her excuse is always: I’m not available at this time. I can’t stand her. She’s deplorable and... should have her license revoked. She’s disgusting to the system.

Michelle was a great help to me during my most stressful divorce. I have two kids and a husband who wouldn't pay-NOT because he didn't have the money!! She is not the run of the mill, impersonal attorney. She went through every step of the divorce process and explained it all. She also managed to... get me the most support allowed by the Georgia guidelines, plus some for extra expenses I had. She kept me updated by email and phone. On top of all of that, she really took time to listen when I met with her. Her advice just about dealing with the real life issues in divorcing with children was invaluable. I don't know what I would have done without her help.

Unfortunately, Michelle is not the lawyer to hire if you are filing for a divorce with kids involved. She did not respond to our opposing counsels requests and continued to deny she ever received correspondence from them. However, my ex incessantly told me his lawyers were making contact with her ...and he had documentation/proof of this correspondence. When confronted....Michelle, has no response. I understand you maybe busy but your profession involves the livelihood of innocent kids and you need to prioritize your obligations and respond accordingly. Her procrastination and inconsistency cost me more money and prolonged our entire divorce unnecessary. It really appeared that she saw this as a cash cow opportunity because as a parent you will do anything to protect and do right for your children. I wish I would have asked about her earlier and I would have known her and her husbands track record. After the fact, a colleague of mine shared his experience with her. He was slammed in jail for failure to pay child support all because she never signed the documents and filed them with the judge. This is sloppy unprofessional and unnecessary monies being paid to someone who can not follow through.
