Holy cow, reading these reviews would've saved me time. Im ok with giving him one star for providing a free form that took alot of advocacy and work for it to be recognized as a human right. How can you flub up a simple consultation? He literally said he would refuse to give me the form fo...r my advance directives for health care . As someone who helped pioneer the home health hospice service with the Ga director of Pain management and some of the most dedicated people to serve this new service to all of metro Atlanta at the time- I know about advanced directives . I was around when the advocacy began in the 90s to ensure all patients knew and were offered resources to make their wishes known . He should've counseled on making sure you really trust the person you choose to speak for you if the time comes when you cant. Everyday this form was a part of my life from when the advocacy started all through my career and then my husband used to be an estate planner. I heard about this so much and told him I knew but Mr Brown's people skills and comprehension deduced he needed to tell me twice that property has nothing to do with adv directives - why? I didnt need to hear it once much less louder a second time. I felt something was off the minute I sat down but the door was shut. I started to leave and he stopped me. I stayed out of my politeness and the used car salesman like pushy demeanor( thats what someone else said - i find it fits ). Just read the reviews . My inquiries were simple.

DO NOT HIRE MR. CHRISTOPHER BROWN TO REPRESENT YOU unless you want to waste your time and money. Due to unnecessary delays and poor communication, I lost my case. I hired Mr. Brown for a contested divorce and it’s good that he knows everyone in court including the court reporters and judges but what ...is not good is his strategy which is basically to discredit the other party and confuse them with dates and times. If the other party have a stronger lawyer and better strategy then they’ve won which is what happened in my case.

DO NOT HIRE MR. CHRISTOPHER BROWN TO REPRESENT YOU!!!! I hired him in the summer of 2017 for a divorce that should not have taken long to finish as there wasn't really nothing to fight for. I was told it should be finished by the end of that year 2017 and here it is 2020 and no divorce. Supposedl...y my ex hired a lawyer that was sick and while I'm sorry for her bad health I fill like Mr. Brown should have done more to persist and pursue to finalize my case in a timely manor. As of May 2020 I hired another attorney and filed a grievance with the state bar of GA And while I have received the remainder of my retainer I am warning others not to hire Mr. Brown. After doing a search on reviews of his firm I see I was not the only one with basically the same complaint the only correspondence with him is when you receive the monthly invoice bill to be paid. Which I decided not to no longer pay as the services were shotty. I tried calling, leaving messages, emails with very little response and an email returned that he would call me the following week but never did. BE WARNED!!!!!

I wish I could give negative stars. He took a 5000 dollar retainer from me for my divorce and once i sent that money to him, i heard nothing about my case. I tried calling him repeatedly. No answer. No response. Everytime I sent him an email he charged me 30 to 100 dollars to read it. Not even a simp...le response. If I owed him money, he definitely called! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. Hire a lawyer who cares and will get results!

Upon hiring Mr. Brown, I felt he was knowledgeable and prepared to represent me with complete commitment. After and during drawing up the initial paperwork, filing, and eventually receiving responses from my wife's attorney, I had the continued feeling that I was always in the dark on what was happen...ing. I would continually request information, ask the status, what's next, what can we do, and it was responded to days later, or not responded to at all. I'd follow up with a second email and may or may not have received a response, but was surely charged a fee to review the follow up email... I felt like I had to continually ask questions because I was never receiving any input or feedback. As an example I get a bill that says he communicated with the opposing attorney but was never told what was discussed. What was discussed, what are we doing, do you need information from me to respond? I inform him that the opposing side is not following the temporary order and it gets brushed aside and I'm told we'll just continue to build our case with this information, yet my daughter could and is directly affected by not following the orders guidelines. It's literally a contempt issue and it is dismissed as gathering information or ammunition on my ex. I've suggested that we request interrogatories from the opposing side to collect evidence contrary to what they are saying and have no idea if we have submitted anything! At the same time we are getting bombarded with a flood of interrogatories that potentially don't even apply and all he does is forward to me and say I need to complete these requests for information. No guidance, no suggestions on reply, nothing. Just a 'forwarded email' from opposing council. I could see when we were in the court room that his approach to representation is cookie cutter and is the same for everyone he represents because the judge was not moved by his tone, questioning, objections, body language, hand gesturing or examinations. 5 figures ($) into his representation, 6+ months of his non-guidance, 1 Temp hearing that probably could have been avoided if we would have acted timely and aggressively, and I sit exactly where I started. All I saw was non-responsiveness, ineffective representation, minimal at best communication efforts and feeling like I've been falsely characterized and have been out represented without a doubt when it could have been avoided with just an honest effort to represent me as marketed. I have found new counsel. I have to join many of the other reviewers and say I would not recommend him for counsel.
