Daniel L. Henderson

       A physical illness kept me away from my law practice some years ago. I have fully recovered and am as stong as I was in my younger days. However, during my illness I failed to respond to correspondence from one client who was in prison. I completed all his legal matters in an effective manner but failed to promptly respond to all his repeated demands for "status reports". He complained to the state bar. I promptly admitted my lack of attention, expressed heartfelt regret for my inattention and consented to a formal admonishment by the bar. This occurence has actually made me even a better lawyer than I was before.

       I am blessed to have a wonderful smart wife, family and legal staff. I am grateful to my clients who have stood with me over many years. Over these years I have worked for them in civil and criminal matters in various parts of the world including Korea, Jordan, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Canada, Columbia, Brazil, Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia.

   My professional affiliations and honors over the years include selections to and memberships in Who's Who in American Law, Center for International Legal Studies (Austria), International Law Association (London), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Trial Lawyers Association, Dwight D, Eisenhower Legal Delegate to People To People Law Projects To China, Cuba, and Brazil.
