Intelligent beyond words. The man was worth every penny. Most defendants are "guilty until proven innocent" before their trial even begins. With the odds stacked against clients (only ~5% are acquitted generally), George helps the court find an overwhelming amount of them not guilty (i'd estimate maybe 70-80%). It is difficult to expect a bargain when your very life is at stake. I sat in jail for 7 months with a public defender, George shows up, speaks in his poignant, thought provoking way and the judge soon laughs at the prosecutor-- who had shown up with 8 cases for precedent-- so much he drops the case. While it may be incorrect to rely on purely anecdotal evidence, George appears to try many more cases than most other criminal lawyers. He doesn't like to lose. As a result, the local DA's office fears him more than any other attorney. He understands all facets of a case so well that as a client you will be amazed.
