I have nothing but praise for Atty McLeod..she is the consummate professional. I truly believe that it was the grace of God that led me to her. At the recommendation of another attorney, I walked into her office approximately a year and three months ago not knowing what to expect. Attorney McLeod ...listened to me and fought to make sure received fair division of the property; yet, she gave me realistic expectations throughout the process. There were times when I shut down and was not communicating with Atty McLeod as regularly as needed but she never gave up on me. In the end, I received more that I expected or requested and I attribute this to Atty McLeod's advisement and stellar representation in court. I will always love and admire this lady because not only was she my lawyer, but she was also my confidant. I always felt that she believed me and that she genuinely cared about my well being. Thank God for bringing me through and directing me to attorney McCleod's office!

Run from this attorney, run. Yes it is fair to say our case didn't go the way we would have liked it to have gone. In fairness the reason we hired her was because of the great reviews received not only from an internet sources but also from other clients she represented in their cases. Our experie...nce with Jennifer was a complete disaster. We have multiple children in this case, she couldn't remember if they were boys or girls, she rarely returned phone calls or emails even after following up multiple times for a responses, her paralegal was so rude at times on the phone to a point that we was scared to even call, there was times she didn't even remember what we had consulted with her on and then when we was at court she would say this is the first she was hearing of it and then when we reminded her we discussed this with her she would say she must have forgot, we would have to chase paper work and often we would learn we should have received it weeks prior, their was no prep prior to any court hearings we would show up at court and wing it from the hip, she showed up to court completely unprepared ever time. Please be carful....

I had a very contentious divorce, and my first attorney did not serve my or my children's best interests. I hired Ms. McLeod to handle visitation and custody modification and contempt for child support/visitation. I had kept detailed records and documentation, per her advice. Ms. McLeod is very st...raightward; she's a realist, shoots from the hip, and tells you what to expect. She's very knowledgeable about her field and dynamics of the Douglas county court system. I always felt that she was working diligently on my case because things moved in a timely manner. From the time I hired her, it only took about 6 weeks before we were in a courtroom. She or her assistant always returned my phone calls and always kept me informed. She told me that with the evidence I had to expect the visitation to be changed and for my ex to be charged with contempt, but she didn't want to get my hopes up about the custody being modified from joint to sole. In the courtroom, I was amazed at how thoroughly Ms. McLeod had listened to me; she commanded the courtroom, and presented DETAILS - painting a good picture for the judge why our agreement at the time was not working for our children. Not only was my ex found in contempt, but the custody and visitation were modified to an agreement that is in the best interests of our children, and quite frankly, in the best interests of my ex as well. That has been 6 years ago, and she had continued to advise me of little things that have come up here and there. I have referred several people to Ms. McLeod, and they have all been very satisfied with her legal expertise.
