Worst attorney I could have ever found

Handled my divorce from my law enforcement ex husband, I had been a stay at home mom for our daughter, then she was not quite 2, husband took her when he left (on my birthday, after he received appallingly inappropriate texts from his ex), filed a false tpo claiming family violence, it was dropped fo...r lack of a case (after retaining different atty recommended by Hilton since he refused to represent me while on retainer for my divorce claiming didn't handle criminal law), after over 6 mon, all the drug tests and evaluations I could stand, all clean, no record, I finally got supervised visitation with my daughter, thru a guardian ad lidem, also recommended by Hilton, my husband got to take from me BOTH cars, MY 9mm, our house, primary custody of our daughter, child support from ME and every penny I had. Hilton didn't DO anything at all for me. Just laid down and let me get absolutely destroyed. It's been 7 years, I don't think I will ever pay off my child support arrears, and my drivers license stays suspended because of it. But the ex husband still expects me to do all the driving to see our daughter because I was ordered to do that too. Brian Hilton was the worst mistake I've ever made.

Our firm strives to provide the best service for our clients. Some cases are simply more challenging than others, which sometimes makes damage control the highest priority. I’m sorry you were disappointed in the results of your case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
