I hired this lawyer for two traffic tickets on Monday morning February 22, 2021. I was told by a Dawn Ziegler that my tickets would be taken care of that day for a fee of $500 and that I should call the next day for updates. I called the next to be told by Dawn that Cawanna ( the hired lawyer) would... need to update her (Dawn) on my case and that I would receive a call that never came. I did not receive a single call, email, or text from the law office of Cawanna A. McMichael through all of this. The zero communication on their end forced me to handle the traffic citations by different means. On Monday morning, March 1, 2021 I had both my tickets and Georgia DDS paid in full with no guidance, help, nor instruction from Cam Law. After paying my fees, I called the law office of Cawanna McMichael and asked for an update on my case. Dawn told me that “they” were still waiting on an update. I told her the situation and asked for my refund. Everything about this business is suspicious but when Dawn asked me to text pictures of all the receipts before refunding I knew it was a mistake choosing this lawyer. I received a text, the only communication from Cam Law, that I would be refunded and that my monies would returned that day or the next at the latest. That was on Monday March 1, 2021. Today is Wednesday March 3, 2021 and I have not received any of my money back. The lack of communication and lack of honesty of Cam Law is unbelievable and intolerable. Update March 4th 2021 About an hour after leaving a review with the Better Business Bureau, Google, and other websites about this company I received my refund. The BBB contacts the business before posting it’s reviews. Had I not took this route I would still be out $500 until this business felt like sending it, if ever. The owner’s response to this review not only enforced my review, but left evidence of deceit. Be careful people.

I’m writing this on behalf’s of my fiancé! She remained professional and consistent with everything, that came up along the way in my case. Her responding time, was always in a rapid manner! When I arrived to Georgia from Colorado my fiancé and I drove. So we needed things to move a bit quicker than ...it normally would go. She meet us early before to discuss and go over everything one last time and a chance to also answer and ask questions. Once in the court room she then double checked that what we spoke about was going to be okay with the judge and then informed us that we need to switch to what the Jude suggested. We also received a speedy probation transfer back to Colorado and everything moved in an expeditious manner. Thanks so much Cawanna for making this a smooth and somewhat pleasant experience.
